RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR BOARDING AND DAYCARE
Doggie daycare can be a great way to provide dogs with exercise and stimulation while their people are at work, and it has many other benefits as well. Spending the day at a well-run daycare can help high-energy dogs burn off steam so they are more likely to be happy and well-behaved at home. The socialization can also help relieve dogs’ separation anxiety and loneliness, and relive their humans’ guilt about leaving them alone all day. In fact, both the Humane Society and the ASPCA recommend bringing dogs to daycare while they are learning to overcome separation anxiety.
IS DAYCARE RIGHT FOR YOUR DOG?
Would you describe your dog as high-energy, or maybe a social butterfly? Is s/he prone to separation anxiety? Like magic, a day of daycare can transform a bored, restless, possibly anxious “problem dog” into a sleepy pile of fur. But that doesn’t mean that daycare is the right fit for every dog. If your dog just doesn’t like the company of other dogs, daycare won’t change that. And if your dog has known dog-aggression issues, daycare definitely won’t help! You know your dog best, and it’s important to be honest about his/her temperament and personality.
A needed get-away, a hotel for a night, a romp for a day…whatever brings your pet to our daycare or boarding, we are committed to making sure that they are have a fabulous time and want to come again. Your pets will experience the absolute highest level of tender loving care while they spend time with us. They’ll have the opportunity to play with toys, other dogs, and of course, our dog-loving staff. And for everyone’s safety, small dogs and large dogs have separate play areas.
This is no “kennel.” Our pets are family – and you wouldn’t put your parents or kids up in a cold, dark hotel room, so why would you do that for your pet? We understand that leaving your pet behind can be stressful, not only for you, but for your pet. Treat your dogs to a bright, sunny suite or your cats to a well-appointed condo while you’re away. You’ll find a more relaxed pet upon your return.
Please be aware that there are specific requirements for your pet to be eligible for Boarding and Daycare at our facility. Please see the Requirements tab for an explanation of those requirements.
