Dr. Kim Crawford

Kim Crawford purchased Chatfield Veterinary Hospital, previously known as Lorenz Veterinary Hospital, in July of 1996. Before veterinary school, Kim practiced as a dental hygienist.

She completed her D.V.M. at CSU in 1992 and went on to do a small animal internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York City, and then did a preceptorship at the San Diego Wild Animal Park. After moving back to Colorado in 1993 she worked at Aspenwood Animal Hospital for 3 years before taking over at Chatfield. “With many years of experience in the human side of dentistry I have always had a passion for animal dentistry.”

She has been a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Denver Veterinary Medical Association since 1993.

Dr. Cara Edelstein

Dr. Edelstein received her D.V.M. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and went on to complete an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in Massachusetts. After spending some time living on the East Coast and then on the West Coast, Dr. Edelstein was very excited to come home to Colorado to be closer to her family. She has an interest in Dermatology and Gastroenterology. In her free time, Dr. Edelstein enjoys hiking with her dog Steve, skiing, and running.

Dr. Lori Perrow

Lori Perrow graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999, then went on to complete an equine internship and one year of an equine medicine residency. She practiced small animal and exotic medicine in North Carolina for several years. After spending several summer vacations in the Colorado Mountains, her family decided to head out west for good in the spring of 2013. She lives with her husband, young daughter, several dogs and a cat. In her spare time, she enjoys running, cycling, and knitting.
